A fellow just got off the bus that was nice and round like a bowling ball. He was wearing mork & mindy suspenders (rainbow style for those who grew up without that show). I envied him. For my 8th birthday I got such bright suspenders myself, but as I wore lots of dresses they went sadly underused. When I grow up and can wear anything I want because i'm a batty old woman I will get myself another pair and maybe just wear them with skirts.

Why wait to become batty?
You might want to put on a shirt once in a while, too, batty or no.
cindy - for the sake of my students and their parents I should wait - no one wants a batty teacher. I have my career to think about.
no worries dainon - shirt always! no doubt about it.
If you were a drama teacher, you could totally rock the rainbow suspenders now.
no being round!
good point julie - i am an english teacher - maybe i could still pull it off.
plewe -the roundness just completes the picture, but you're right, i don't really want to be round. i like seeing where i put my feet.
i do think suspenders work best on people of one solid shape, though. flat or round. i'm not 8 anymore so i lost some of my flatness and i'm not 80 yet so i haven't fully developed my roundness.
