Next

Well one more man in my life has decided to opt for someone who is not me. I would think it was bordering on funny if it wasn't so predictable. i'm getting a reputation for having a good attitude and being able to bounce back. That's a good thing, right?

We should form a club and get matching jackets. :-) But after watching my sister battle her children at bedtime for the past week, I'm not wholly convinced that I'm missing an awful lot. That could be my way of coping, but you get my point.

very good point. still - the guy was pretty good. it's a toss up. maybe i better spend some time at toys-r-us to feel better.

I'm gonna wonder forever who this mystery man was. But, you know? I've been there, too. It blows, but opens up a myriad of possibilities. It takes a while to realize that but, once you do, life will get a whole lot more beautiful for you.

you have met him! he went to moab with us. trek and trail master man. his photo appears a few posts below as my spiral jetty buddy.

you're right - bring on the myriad of possibilities!

Ugh...at least you're dating. I'm waiting for the influx of guys who want to date me because I'm leaving.

I'm in that club too. Sounds like you have a good attitude about it, but I know its fustrating. Especially when the guys you date tend to marry the next person they date after you.

sherpa - I tell myself i'm helping to build the kingdom by helping them get married - it's all about service.
kc - thanks, i'll pass. i'm only into the serving that gets me dates. doesn't john have anyone to introduce me to? neighbors?
cindy - I look forward to having you here! it'd make me even happier if your move gets you tons of dates.

thanks - glad you like it! i came up with the idea in a sunday school class on sowing seeds and i thought i may be sowing my seeds in useless ground. so i thought of the fruit that came of my sowing and that's the self comforting idea i came up with.

in other "next" news - mother has been sending me advice from msn. such as "when one door closes another opens" - you just need the courage to turn away from the closed door. good advice. very mom like. no, very grandma like. she's getting older i guess.
