All along my foot has hurt on the left side (nonsurgical site) and the pain medication hasn't helped. Everyone seemed stumped and said that was unusual. This morning a new nurse came in and I did my usual whining. She quickly insisted that my boot was too small - designed for people with size 7 shoe. I'm a 9 1/2. She brought in a new boot and I have to say it hurts a lot less. She also helped me get my pants off over the boot so I could take a shower. So besides having a new boot i'm clean! Well, not like i've gotten very dirty lying in bed 24 hours - but still, a shower is a nice thing! Here's to another exciting day in bed.
